IX Art Park is there for everyone. As an intersection of culture in Charlottesville, our organization provides accessible art and culture in its grounds and programming for the Citys citizens and visitors, old and young, rich and poor, regardless of ethnicity, race or persuasion. Its mission is to make art (in all its forms) a daily reality for everyone, giving meaning and purpose to peoples lives and creating community through culture.
Bar Manager (Part-Time - 30 hours per week)
- Open and close the cash drawer each night
- Ensure Square system is used properly for recording time cards, cash payouts, daily register
- Back up Square system with handwritten receipts on all cash payouts
- Serve as the lead bartender (2 to 4 shifts a week)
- Nightly inventory
- Stock bar nightly
- Take ownership of the cleanliness of the bar area
- Ordering and pick up of necessary soft drinks & fruit
- Assist the Venue Manager as needed
- Ability to lift kegs and other heavy objects (50lbs+)
- Basic audio tech skills are a bonus
- Knowledge of Square POS is a plus

Experience:
- Bartending experience, tech and audio skills, management experience a plus, ABC training
