Tailwind, a national airport concessionaire, operates airport concessions at 22 airports across the country. This location is looking for a strong leader who is excited to operate multiple high volume venues inside of the Charlottesville, VA airport.
Responsibilities may include:
-Leads the restaurant during a shift
-Understand completely; all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs set forth by the Tailwind Management Company.
-Work as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the restaurant.
-Fill in where needed to ensure that service standards and efficient operations are met.
-Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment at all times.
-Report to work punctually and assist in the event of an emergency outlined within restaurant standards and all Tailwind policies.
-Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
-Treating both hourly employees and members of the Management team with professionalism and respect.
-Adequate communication and understanding of the predominant language(s) of the restaurants operating area.
-Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day).
-Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
-Some weekend days required as well as mornings and evenings.
-Must have experience of restaurant management.
-Strong kitchen and grill experience.
-Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge.
-Must have reliable transportation
