Farm/estate located in Albemarle County near Charlottesville is seeking a reliable individual to assist in the maintenance of a 100+ acre grass and timber farm. The farm has no animals.
There are a wide array of tasks including; mowing with commercial equipment, landscaping, cleaning inside and around buildings, chainsaw work, assisting the farm manager with projects, etc.
The ideal candidate can communicate well, work well with others, be able to keep busy unsupervised, has previous experience on a farm or estate, and has general knowledge of basic mowing and power equipment. Must be able to provide own transport, work outside in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs.
