We are looking to add a few reliable hard working groundsmen to our crew to keep up with demand. We are a local tree company based in Charlottesville since the 1960's, providing services to the central Va. area. Applicants would need to meet the following requirements:
-Drivers license (CDL is a plus)& reliable transportation (please do not apply if you have a restricted license or none at all)
-Must be respectful and courteous to clients and fellow employees
-Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
-Able to perform work duties without a mobile device in your hands at all times
Responsibilities would include:
Driving company vehicles (with and without equipment in tow), chainsaw operation, dragging brush, brush chipper operation, carrying wood, raking, etc.
We have various pieces of equipment at our disposal and utilize them whenever possible to lighten the load on our employees.
Groundsman position starts at $12/hour, actual pay based on experience. Mon-Fri, hours vary based on job size & weather conditions
