Work on our farm and help us provide our rescued dogs, horses and farm animals with a better life. We are looking for motivated and responsible applicants for this exciting internship opportunity to make a difference for abused and abandoned animals. The position will involve assisting our farm manager with duties such as building shelters, building fences, mowing, weed trimming, tree trimming, and other general construction and maintenance duties as needed. Duties will involve the use of power tools and equipment. Shifts will generally be Mondays through Fridays (4-5 days per week) from about 9 am to 1 pm but could vary, with additional work hours possible. The internship will be for a period of 2 months and will pay $13 per hour. A formal job offer may be possible at the conclusion of the 2-month internship period. Applicants must be able to lift 60 lbs and be willing to work in all types of weather. Basic farm experience preferred. Please contact us for an application.
