Funk Brothers Furniture, a local antique restoration and custom furniture builder, is hiring for a part-time office manager. The role requires 10 - 15 hours per week with a pay rate between $18 and $21, depending on experience. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The 10-15 hours per week can be completed flexibility within operating business hours. Work location is currently in downtown Cville, but will be relocating to near Lake Monticello in near future. Start date is flexible, but would prefer someone who can start in May.
Ideal candidate for this position is possibly a graduate student, retired individual, or someone looking for supplemental income. Funk Brothers is a team of 6 co-owned and operated by brothers Mike and Dan Funk. Our workplace is very laid back with a family vibe, and we seek to prioritize finding someone who meshes well with our existing atmosphere. Besides a natural affinity for customer service and organization, we are willing to train the right individual for the role.
The office manager would be responsible for:
- Engaging with clients through email and phone
- Scheduling onsite visits and pick up/drop off of furniture
- Invoicing clients through Quickbooks Online
- General HR and organizational responsibilities, such as managing PTO schedules, leading employee evaluations, and assisting in maintaining workflow and scheduling.
- Website and social media updating
