If you have a passion for pets, a great sense of humor and superior customer service skills join us at Pawprints Boutique on the downtown mall. We have a flexible, independent environment which is ideal for a motivated, responsible individual. We are looking for someone 2-3 days per week (10 to 15 hours per week). Must be available every other weekend. Hourly pay rate starts at $10/hr after training depending on experience.
Pawprints boutique is a small locally owned store that specializes in pet themed clothing, gifts, housewares, and jewelry as well as quality items made for pets. We strive to offer our customers and their pets an enjoyable, small town experience while in our store.
The ideal candidate is professional, honest, reliable, easygoing, friendly, confident, enthusiastic, dedicated to the downtown mall, willing to follow directions and able to take care of the store on their own, without supervision. While we prefer candidates with experience in retail sales and a college degree or taking classes, a good cover letter and personal characteristics may substitute.
Please keep in mind that while liking pets is important, this job is focused on working with people. What is extremely important is providing customer service and being able to run the store on your own.
