We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes and be proficient in various concrete-related tasks. WE are looking for someone with previous concrete and/or masonry experience. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites. The Concrete Laborer will contribute to the successful completion of projects by ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects.
Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and efficiently.
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and curing tasks.
Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
Utilize hand tools for various construction tasks, including carpentry and masonry work.
Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor as required on-site.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
Strong understanding of concrete pumping techniques and hardscape installation.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site.
