ELECTRONIC REPAIR/ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Small, busy, and growing Veteran owned business in the Charlottesville, VA area is seeking an individual to perform electronic & electrical repairs. We rebuild machines to sell, and service machines for our customers. The machines are three axis CNC controlled that perform precision cutting of various materials.
We are seeking someone with the ability to troubleshoot/diagnose/repair the electronic enclosure controllers for the machines. Also, troubleshoot and repair the electrical systems of the various machines. This job would be located on site in our offices just outside of Charlottesville, VA. Remote work is not possible for this position.
The requirements/skills needed are the ability to use schematics for troubleshooting, etc. The knowledge to perform troubleshooting tasks and repairs using the appropriate instruments. The ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards to component level and working knowledge of computer systems. The ability to troubleshoot/repair and make wiring harnesses would be a plus as well!
There are several different machines (same manufacturer) that we deal with and are just fun cool machines!
This would be a part-time position to start with somewhat flexible hours. The position has the potential to become much more for the right individual.
