Maintenance Position
The Maintenance position is responsible for general upkeep and repair of all common areas and apartment units of the building under the supervision of the Property Manager for the property.
The Maintenance position is full-time and is expected to average approx. 35 to 40 hours a week. The exact schedule is to be determined by the Office Manager and approved by the Property and Operations Supervisor.
Specific Job Duties:
Responsible for the following needs of the building based on priorities determined by the Property Manager:
Basic Electrical (Replace outlets, light switches, breakers and light fixtures)
Basic Plumbing (Repair and/or Replace sinks, faucets, toilets, drain lines, copper, PVC and CPVC pipes.)
Drywall repair and Painting
Basic Carpentry (Repair and/or replace doors, trim, cabinetry and countertops)
Basic HVAC (clean/change filters, replace thermostats)
Responsible for preparing empty apartment units prior to new resident Move-In based on need and determined by Office Manager
Responsible for communicating inventory levels on supplies to Property Manager.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum three years experience in Property Maintenance, including Basic Plumbing, Basic Electrical, Drywall and Paint, Basic carpentry and Basic HVAC;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Transportation and the ability to work on-site;
