Quality Welding, Inc is a welding and metal fabrication company serving the central Virginia region. We have been in business since 1972 specializing in structural welding, metal fabrication, railings and stairs, automotive frame repair, and more.
We are in search of experienced individuals who have the desire to excel in the structural metal fabrication and welding trade, with a strong work ethic.
Our ideal candidate will have the following abilities and skills:
Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout, dimensions, and materials required.
Cutting and shaping metal pieces using shears, plasma cutters, torches, and other metal-shaping tools.
Assembling and welding metal components to form structures such as beams, columns, and frames.
Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they conform to specifications and are free from defects.
Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and adjust fabrication methods as
needed.
Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Welding certifications (nice to have, but not required as we can assist you in becoming certified on the job)
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision, problem solve, climb, pick up 75 lbs.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work with a team
Desire to get off the porch and run with the big dogs
Work 45 hours/week, Monday thru Friday
