THIS WORK IS FOR 1-DAY ONLY AND TAKES PLACE IN DANVILLE, VA.
WORK DATE IS SUNDAY 27 APRIL 2025 STARTING AT 9:30AM SHARP.
(Rain date will be Monday 28 April 2025 with a start time 9:00am)
You will be paired with another handyman / carpenter or worst case myself.
Anticipate amount of time to complete task is 8 to 9 hours. You will get a 1-hour
unpaid lunch break.
Individual coming from areas 20 miles outside of Danville, VA
up to 75 miles will have thier one-way mileage reimbused at the
rate of $0.70 per mile. Your drivers license determines distance
from Danville, VA.
Looking for an additional handyman to execute the following tasks:
A) Residential Strom/Screen Window Assembly (12 Items)
B) Residential Sash Window Lock Removal and Replacement (10 Sash Windows Total)
C) Casters Installation Involving Several Workstands (3 to 4 Items)
D) Interior Window Shade Removal and Replacement with Aluminum Blinds (2 to 4 Windows)
E) Installation Curtain Rods Over Bedroom and Bathroom Closet Doorways (4 Closet Doors)
All materials and fasteners for execution of described tasks shall be provided to you.
Ladders along with step-up equipment shall be provided.
You are to provide your own tools and protective equipment such as the follwoing:
1) Electric or air powerd drill with various size bits for driving all types of screw heads.
2) Electric or air powered hand held circular saw for cutting 1-in to 2-in thck hardwood and softwood.
3) Measuring and marking tools
4) Work gloves along with eye protective equipment
5) Knowledge and experience involving household assembly tasks
