The Navy's Enterprise Authoritative Data Environment (eADE) team is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to join their team.This is a REMOTE opportunity.The program overall will maintain Navy O&M and Research/Development/Test and Evaluation (RDTE) for Navy Personnel and Pay systems. The eADE team will apply an authoritative data sharing framework that supports data analytics and business intelligence functions to the HR systems.How you will Make an Impact:
Work closely with project managers and business analysts to understand project requirements and objectives. Your technical insights will help shape the development and legacy applications migration strategy aligned with the ADE project goals.
Contribute to a dynamic team environment where open communication, mutual support, and shared success are valued, enhancing team dynamics.
Work with the development team to identify and resolve technical challenges through innovative problem-solving and leveraging team expertise.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and documenting new applications and supporting/enhancing legacy Navy applications on the APEX platform.
You will leverage your deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, APEX application development, and web technologies to build efficient and scalable applications.
Analyze the Navy requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field
5+ years’ experience designing and building software applications.
Expertise in Oracle APEX Development, Oracle Database and Web Technologies.
Proficiency in diagnosing issues and debugging APEX web applications to ensure reliability and performance.
Security+ certification
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Skills in advanced user interface and user experience design with Oracle APEX.
Knowledge of Oracle APEX and Oracle database performance optimization techniques’
Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
