Our growing dental practice needs a Dental Hygienist to join our awesome team.
Position is 2 days/week
We serve all demographics of the population, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a busy office.
In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept walk-ins and take emergency calls.
The ideal candidate is a team player, has a friendly, bubbly personality, has a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor.
Must have excellent work ethic, dependable and reliable.
Responsibilities include:
Collect medical and dental histories from patients
Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
Sterilize dental instruments when needed.
Review with patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
Take X-rays of patients, perform prophy and SRP.
Qualifications:
Degree in Dental Hygiene required
Current state license required
Local anesthesia certification preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
Current CPR certification required
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
