We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in need. As an Attendant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with daily tasks, ensuring the well-being of our clients, and offering support in various settings such as nursing homes, group homes, or hospice care facilities. If you have a passion for caregiving and making a positive impact on others' lives, this position is ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
- Implement care plans and provide direct support to individuals with disabilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility assistance and physical exercises as needed
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for clients
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and outings. MUST HAVE DRIVER’S LICENSE & BE ABLE TO DRIVE CLIENT AS NEEDED.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of clients
- Be prepared to handle emergency situations by applying CPR if necessary
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving, nursing homes, hospice care, or related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with long-term care practices and procedures
- Knowledge of CPR techniques and first aid protocols
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed
