Responsibilities.
Accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components
Perform repairs and routine maintenance on various makes and model
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
Maintain both personal and shop equipment and tools in good condition
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
To communicate effectively with other employees and customers as needed
Skills:
Proven experience as auto mechanic
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Strong ability to read, research, analyze and understand repair data from various resources
Good physical condition with good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
Virginia State Inspection license and/or Emissions Inspector's license preferred but not necessary
