Rappahannock Cleaning Services, LLC, is a rapidly growing cleaning company that is looking for a cleaning specialist that can handle some dirty work. We currently focus on residential and commercial properties. We also clean move-outs and post construction locations.

Here are some things we need from you.
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
Must be reliable (able and willing to show up for your scheduled shift). No shows or tardiness will NOT be tolerated and could lead to disciplinary action, including termination.
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential, as well as an eagerness to learn.
Ability to work well along, or with a partner/team.
Ability to understand and be able to do a general sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors.
Ability to use vacuuming equipment and as trained, further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal.
Disposal of trash and recycling items from bins.
Polishing furniture and room accessories.
Scrubbing sinks, basins, baths, and toilets.
Keeping all spaces neat and tidy.
Cleaning windows, glass surface, and mirrors, streak/smear free
Cleaning of kitchen appliances including (but not limited to), ovens and stove tops, microwaves, stoves, fridges, etc.
Other duties and tasks as required.
General knowledge of cleaning preferred.
Ability and willingness to follow directions, attend training, and apply training to the work environment.
Weekday, weekend and evening shifts available.
PLEASE NOTE: Applicant must pass a Virginia Criminal Background check, must be willing to travel within the Northern Neck of Virginia, and must have a VA DL and reliable transportation.
All staff will be provided with a uniform and all cleaning supplies/equipment will be provided.
Workers comp, Excellent hourly rates, and gas mileage provided to multiple sites.
Weekend, evening, and day shifts available.
Must be family and pet friendly.
401 k offered after 1 year of employment.

Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hrs/week)
Pay: $17/hr for residential accounts and commercial accounts are paid either hourly or a percentage of the job. After a 60 day probationary period , employees receive a $1/hr raise. After 1 year of employment, employees receive another $1/hr raise.
COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our housekeepers as safe as possible, you will be asked to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, mask, and sometimes eye protection. You will be asked to stay at least 6 feet away from other employees and clients.
