Lakewood Animal Hospital is seeking a hardworking, detail oriented, enthusiastic veterinary assistant for our two doctor small animal practice in Locust Grove, Virginia. Job duties include a lot of cleaning, lifting and handling cats and dogs. Candidates should work well independently as well as with a team. Candidates must be comfortable with basic computer skills and enjoy working with clients/customers. Position is for three weekday shifts each week for a total of 26-30 hours per week. We are open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday so there are no night or weekend hours.
