Administrative Assistant FT (Fredericksburg)
Compensation: $15.00 per hour to start. Eligible for increase after probationary period.
This position has no benefits.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - FULL TIME – ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT!
An opportunity has opened for a bright and energetic professional to enter as an administrative assistant. Immediate opening. Must have minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills and Abilities:
Good oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a Commercial/HOA Management or property management required.
Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis on Excel - ability to create spreadsheets.
Strong customer service and professional phone etiquette.
Must exhibit problem solving skills, and be able to work independently.
Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, enthusiastic attitude, and a strong desire to learn.
Record minutes, distribute to board members and managers in a timely fashion.
Ability to follow directions.
Internet and computer knowledge A MUST, including all Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of AppFolio, TOPS, Homewise or other similar property management software.
Strong proficiency in grammar and spelling.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Handling phone calls from multi-line phone system.
Strong ability to follow directions.
Must be reliable and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
General Office Tasks:
Professional letters, e-mails, document tracking and filing.
Spreadsheet creation and maintenance.
Provide daily administrative support to Association Managers and Association Inspector.
Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions, and in maintaining client files.
Screen incoming telephone calls; resolve issues as able, forward to associates as needed.
Screen incoming email correspondence, prioritize mail, and draft responses as appropriate. Refer more complex issues and/or urgent matters to the appropriate individual, gather any additional information needed to respond.
Coordinate and maintain calendars; plan and schedule meetings, conferences, teleconferences.
Receive, date and scan incoming invoices.
Resolve administrative problems by collecting information, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies
Contact vendors as needed.
Maintains files and office equipment
Process daily incoming and outgoing mail
Education and Training:
High School Diploma. Some College is preferred for advancement opportunities, but not required.
Office environment experience required.
Internet and computer knowledge.
Microsoft Office programs and database management.
Location: Fredericksburg, VA (Close to downtown)
Compensation: Starting rate will be based on experience.
