Safely operate tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products
Maneuvers tractor-trailer combination into loading or unloading position.
When required, stop at weigh station before and after loading, and along route to document weight and conform to state regulations.
Maintains daily driver log
Complete and perform pre and post trip inspections; and report necessary repairs
Use of on-board communication system to log, pick up and deliver product
Maintain tractor-trailer fluid levels
Secures load to trailer wall using straps and/or tarping system.
Work in ALL weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind)
Maintain a clean tractor and trailer
Follows all safety policies and procedures
Adhere to all DOT regulations
Complete other duties as assigned
Alternating Saturdays are required
Consistent attendance is required
Knowledge of backing is required
Knowledge of Tipper, Walking Floor and Dump Trailers is a plus
Must pass a Drug and Alcohol Test, Background check and have an insurable driving recordJob Type:
