Monteverde Engineering and Design Studio is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, welcomes new challenges, and enjoys coming up with creative solutions to projects and who shares our vision, mission, and values. We are looking for an entry-level structural engineer to join our firm; zero to three years experience in the consulting engineering field is preferred.
This is a Full time position, with negotiable salary based upon experience.
Responsibilities will include designing various structural systems utilizing wood, cold-formed steel, structural steel, concrete, and masonry. The primary focus will be on structural designs from the conceptual level through construction documents and construction administration. Projects will be in various market sectors including residential, commercial, and industrial. This role may include limited potential to travel for site surveys and investigations to facilitate the structural designs, and to meet with clients and external team members during the design process. The ideal candidate will have experience with Revit, RISA 3D or other structural design software. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering is required, and the ability to work as part of a team is vital.
