Description We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Henrico, Virginia. In this role, you will assist with business-to-business collections, maintain customer accounts, and collaborate with our sales team to resolve past due invoices. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Effectively manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collections. Assist with business-to-business (B2B) collections, ensuring all payments are made promptly. Collaborate with the sales team to resolve past due invoices and set up payment plans. Utilize accounting software systems, including Sage 100, for efficient and accurate data management. Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses. Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating any changes as necessary. Use CRM and ERP solutions to streamline processes and improve customer service. Perform billing functions, ensuring customers are billed correctly and promptly. Monitor cash activity, identifying any discrepancies and taking appropriate action. Perform other accounting functions as needed, including accounts payable.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experienced with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CRM systems Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to use ERP Solutions effectively In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Capable of managing Billing Functions Ability to handle Cash Activity efficiently Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
