Description We are offering a unique Senior Accounting opportunity for a role based in Henrico, Virginia. The individual will be involved in various aspects of the accounting industry, including audit preparation, reconciliation process management, and rebate accounting. You will assist the Controller with the following responsibilities: Managing the audit preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance Designing and implementing a reconciliation process to maintain financial integrity Overseeing rebate accounting to ensure proper recording and reporting Performing ledger activities, with a hands-on approach to understand and manage financial data Ensuring the month-end closing processes are completed accurately and timely Preparing and presenting financial reporting for management review Handling accrual-based accounting tasks to reflect the company's financial status accurately Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient and accurate financial management Ensuring the application of accounting functions complies with industry regulations Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable Conducting auditing processes to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencRequirements Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar. Proficiency with 3M software is necessary. Experience working with various accounting software systems is required. Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is a must. Familiarity with CRM systems is desirable. Proficiency in working with Crystal Reports is needed. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting functions. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Auditing skills are a necessity. Must be well-versed with budget processes.
