Job Title: Senior Profile Developer – Retail Banking Technology Location: Remote Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Profile Developer to join our Retail Bank Technology division. This role involves the design, development, and testing of software solutions with a strong emphasis on system architecture and integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MUMPS, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), and SQL, as well as a strong background in banking software systems. The candidate is expected to lead technical projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural best practices.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Development Team Leader and business stakeholders to clarify and refine project requirements.Lead and manage development tasks, user stories, and team activities in coordination with the Development Team Leader.Drive team improvements and proactively identify technical or process enhancements.Develop detailed technical specifications based on business and functional requirements.Write clean, reliable, and well-documented code in MUMPS, PSL, and SQL.Ensure code meets security, stability, and confidentiality standards in line with Capital One’s policies.Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative team environment.Track development issues and resolutions using tools such as JIRA.Support junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
