Position Objective: Functions as the main point of contact and SME for GAP’s HRIS system. Manages the deployment and tracking of employee training, performance management and is the first point of contact for employee relation issues. The position will also serve as a backup for all other HR tasks including onboarding, offboarding and benefit management. Duties and Responsibilities: Human Resources
Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
Participates in developing department goals and objectives
Serves as a backup for all Onboarding and Offboarding tasks.
Responsible for creating HR reports including but not limited to new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
Presents training that addresses HR policies and procedures.
Participates in creating and implementing company’s wellness initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
HRIS Administration:
Serve as the main point of contact for all HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to maintain data integrity and compliance.
Provide training and support to HR team members and other employees on how to effectively use Paycom.
Develop user guides, training materials, and resources to facilitate system adoption.
Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports from Paycom to support strategic decision-making.
Recommend process improvements to enhance HRIS functionality and user experience.
Stay updated on industry best practices, trends and monthly updates related to HRIS management.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding employee data management and privacy.
Training and Development:
Deploy, manage and track compliance and client/department mandated trainings.
Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in employee training and development.
Employee Relations:
Providing managers with support and guidance to document and resolve employee grievances effectively while also leveraging GAP’s’ HRIS system for tracking purposes.
Assist management and leadership in conducting and documenting investigations of employee complaints and disciplinary issues, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Implement and uphold company policies and procedures related to employee conduct and performance.
Promote a positive workplace culture by assisting the employee morale committee in organizing employee engagement activities and initiatives and purchasing and distributing logo merchandise and gifts.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
Three plus years of experience in a human resources generalist function.
Two plus years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably with Paycom.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources.
Knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) regulations preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond accurately to simultaneous tasks.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook).
Experience working in a government contracting environment highly preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
