Description We are in search of an HR Coordinator to join our team located in Irvington, Virginia. This role is integral to the Human Resources function and is a short term contract opportunity. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.Responsibilities: Assist in the administration of HR processes and programs Support the HR Director in managing HR activities Handle and resolve inquiries related to HR procedures and policies Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records and processing documentation Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations Participate in HR projects and take on additional tasks as required Provide general support to the HR department during the absence of the current HR Coordinator Utilize Human Resources (HR) Administration skills to enhance department efficiency. Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Proficient in Human Resources (HR) Administration. Capable of maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using HR software and computer applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities. Experience in handling HR duties including employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training. Demonstrated ability to interpret and comply with employment laws and regulations. Ability to handle conflict resolution in a professional and effective manner. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation. Demonstrated understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. Ability to handle data with confidentiality. Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
