Job Summary: The Caregiver role with Always Best Care Loudoun is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene typically in a facility or home care setting. We currently are seeking care team member(s) that are available to work with a long-term client located in Sterling, VA on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00am-6:00pm. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Based on Availability and Experience Flexible Working Hours Compensated Ongoing Certification Training Caregiver Responsibilities: Assists client(s) with medication reminder(s) Assist client(s) with ambulation and mobility aroundthe house or outside May be responsible for client(s) transportation to appointments or errands Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, such as toileting, bathing, and dressing Encourage client(s) to complete physical therapy and otherrecommended exercises Perform light housekeeping tasksthat client(s) cannotcomplete on their own, includingbut not limited to, laundry, meal preparation, dishes, and making the bed Maintain proper documentation about conditions and treatmentplans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and familymembers Report any unusual incidents or changes in conditionto nurses, doctors andfamily members Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Maintain strong and respectful communication with the Always Best Care Loudoun team and client(s) Caregiver Requirements: Previous caregiver experience preferred butnot required Current CPR (American Heart Association)Certification Willingness to adhere to health and safetystandards Must be respectful and compassionate with goodbedside manner Outstanding communication, time managementand interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks High school diploma or equivalent Always Best Care Loudoun is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
