Design, develop, and deliver technical training to end customers, indirect channel partners and Harris employees at the Technical Training Center in Lynchburg, Virginia and at domestic and international customer locations.
Primary responsibility is to conduct training on P25 system management, maintenance and operation.
On-site training accounts for 25 - 30% of all working days.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree plus 6 years relevant prior experience or Graduate Degree with 4 years relevant prior experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Certification in electronics or IP networking (e.g., CCNA)
Proficient in technical training
Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics
Competent in using the MicroSoft Office Suite of applications
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers
Knowledge and experience implementing training programs using an instructional design methodology
Experience managing and/or maintaining an RF communication system, especially a Harris P25 SR10A system to include the VIDA core and MASTR V site equipment
