Job Title: Experienced Bread Baker

About us: Father’s Café & Bakery is a beloved local bakery renowned for artisan breads, pastries, and commitment to quality. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bread Baker to join our dedicated team and help us continue to deliver exceptional products to our community.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake various types of bread, pretzels, including sourdough, baguettes, and specialty loaves.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes provided using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
Monitor the baking process to ensure proper color, texture, and consistency.
Adjust oven temperatures, humidity, and baking times as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the team to develop new bread varieties and seasonal offerings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of bread-making techniques and dough fermentation.
Ability to work early mornings and weekends.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Creativity and passion for baking.
Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and other baking supplies.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
