The Information Technology technician is a position focused on trouble shooting network systems and cyber security protocols. The position will also interface with clients within the Central Virginia region and perform diagnostics and remediation. 7:00am-7 am or 7pm Mon-Friday (some weekends), $17.00-$25.00/hour DOE.
Responsibilities: Must be able install and maintain computer hardware, software and networks. Must be very independent. Technicians must be able to travel covering central Virginia area performing networking/telephony and other services. Experience with network protocols including DNS/TCP/IP is a benefit. CCNA not required.
Candidates must be familiar with the following:
A+ Certification.
Valid Driver’s License.
Smart phone w/ camera.
1 or more years’ experience network cabling/termination/test/troubleshoot
Ability to trouble shoot computer hardware, software and networks
Proficient computer skills with spreadsheets, word-processing, graphics and web development.
Effective written and oral communicator.
Must be able to manage time effectively
Requirements: Good work, attendance, safety record, pas same day drug test, have clear background report, neat/clean work appearance.
