GENERAL SUMMARY
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under remote supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains personal computer (PC), printers, multi-function devices and desk-top peripherals.
Develops technical hardware and software expertise.
Assists with network installations.
To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
General PC hardware and software knowledge. Ability to troubleshoot PC and peripheral products at system level. General knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office Suite, etc. Ability to load network drivers on a variety of platforms and to perform board level diagnostics. Be familiar with the companys safety and health policy and program.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
