Job Description:
JMG Global is a leading asphalt contractor for Norfolk Southern, and has an opportunity for an experienced Equipment Operator. This position will work closely with the paving team and other divisions to execute paving multiple railroad crossings across Norfolk Southern's network.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED
Must be able to travel and stay out of town at least 4 days per week.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Possess a safe driving record, CDL A license
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with others in stressful situations.
Flexible scheduling to work long hours and sometimes weekends when necessary
Experience estimating quantities, recording work completed, and assembling time cards for payroll submission
Experience in all types of asphalt paving preferred
Proficient in operating a Backhoe
Hi-Rail Backhoe experience preferred
Safety Responsibilities:
This position will be a leader in all aspects of safety
Knowledge of and compliance with all company safety requirements, policies, and safety training.
Compliance with all Drug free policies.
