Office Admin / Accounting Assistant

Busy construction company looking to add a member to our team for office administration and accounting assistance.

The office admin is the traffic controller of the business, who assists with whatever is needed every day to ensure all departments are operating efficiently. You will be a critical team member in assisting with the day to day operations of the business, working closely with the rest of the team and the owner of the company to keep our schedule full and office running efficiently.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive office admin to oversee daily administrative operations, assist in managing AR/AP functions, and implement quality customer service. In this supporting role daily responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry, account reconciliations, subcontractor compliance, accounts receivable, accounts payable and filing. Office responsibilities involve answering the door, greeting customers, distributing mail/packages, assist team members as needed, equipment tracking, fleet management, ensure the office is always clean and organized, monitor office supply inventory and requisition etc You will not have to answer the main phone lines, the head PMA answers the call center 800 line, you will be responsible for answering your company issued cellphone.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in office administration / management

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook

Accounting knowledge or experience preferred (not required)

QuickBooks knowledge a plus (not required, will train)

Effective written and verbal communication

Must be detail oriented and organized

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
