We are looking for a P/T Charge Bookkeeper/Payroll clerk to work about 20 hours a week in keeping our books current. The company is an Constriction business located in Virginia Beach close to Landstown Commons.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of the Bookkeeper will be to handle Account Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation and Financial Report Preparation. The job includes cutting the A/P checks for every week (about 10 checks per week) and overseeing A/R collection as well as deposits (there are not a lot of transactions). The job also includes performing some minor clerical tasks at the office.
The software used by the organization is Quickbooks Online. It is a requirement that the candidates be familiar with this software application or similar. At the end of every calendar year the bookkeeper will prepare reports and statements as needed by the CPA for tax return preparation purposes. Please email resume.
