Gas fireplaces need to be maintenanced seasonally, service is non negotiable gas leaks and carbon monoxide leaks are so much more common than people realize. Almost every single fireplace I service for the first time has a gas leak or a carbon monoxide leak, alot of installs are done by handymen or contractors that don't know what they are doing or it's been a long time or never been serviced. cob webs,carbon build up and clogged ventilation systems are a hazard to your most valuable asset. In other words I'm looking for a business partner someone as hungry as me. There's one competitor in Virginia Beach and I helped him start his business after 2 months he had to hire four vehicles going all day and he still missed and didn't respond to hundreds of calls there is so much money in this business it is absolutely ridiculous and you can get certified fast if you work hard. You can learn all of this material to pass the test in less than a week if you really try it's an online test you have to have a webcam and a microphone on sounds pretty easy to me. So who's the handyman that's got the biggest head because if you don't believe you can do anything you put your mind to then I don't believe you're the right person for this job by the way I beat every other company for inspection by $50 as soon as I put up those Google ads we're going to be very booked
Btw I did this for years with no certification for the most part this is an extremely easy job as long as you're decent with your hands and using very small tools it's really easy it's not like you're measuring stuff and doing carpentry but safety is extremely important because we're dealing with gas that's why NFI certification is a must. If a mistake is made we will be covered. If you passed your NFI exam the first time you're half of the 300 back that day but the first person that's supposed to see this and goes for it is more than likely going to be a millionaire with me. And I haven't even told you what my summer season biz is :) also looking for a concrete guy I get estimates to this guy all the time and he's 8-10 a square foot if you can beat that your hired I find concrete and roof and tree work every day.
