I'm looking for a responsible local high school student with good grades to help my 6th grade daughter with her homework and studying. She’s bright, friendly, and easy to get along with, but staying on task and staying organized aren’t her strong suits, so I’m hoping to find someone who can help keep her on track.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
Someone familiar with Canvas (and other tools used in public schools)
Able to help her stay on top of assignments and study for tests
Reliable and preferably has their own transportation
Ideally available 4–5 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and occasionally Sunday)
Comfortable working around 5:30/6 p.m. until homework is finished
Friendly, patient, and good at keeping kids focused
Pay:
$25/hour.
I’d prefer a female tutor since I think my daughter would be more comfortable, but I’m open to male tutors if everything feels like a good fit after meeting. This could be a great experience to add to a college application!
