Looking for a Dishwasher/prep cook to join our team. We're an Asian restaurant in Norfolk that serves ramen and other dishes. You must have your own transportation and be able to work nights and weekends. This position can start as part-time but we'd like you to quickly transition to full-time hours.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
-washing dishes using a dish machine
-hand washing larger items and cooking tools
-cleaning dish area floors and surfaces
-doing prep such as but not limited to making sauces, knife work, starting stews, cleaning produce, making dumplings, etc.
-supporting the hotline cooks during service
We're looking for a person who:
-can listen and follow directions
-can be a quick learner
-can work well with a team
-shows up on time
-can communicate well with their coworkers
-is responsible and trustworthy
This is an entry level position that has lots of room for growth within the company and beyond. Previous experience is a plus but not 100% necessary.
