OB/GYN Sonographer – Virginia Beach
Pay: $34.00 – $45.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join our team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will be proficient in obstetrical and gynecological imaging, including abdominal, transvaginal, and 3D/4D ultrasounds, with a strong commitment to patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality basic and comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound imaging exams.
Independently operate ultrasound equipment to acquire, reconstruct, and document diagnostic-quality images.
Record anatomical, pathological, and physiological data for physician interpretation.
Conduct appropriate QA procedures and maintain a high level of medical ethics.
Accurately document and utilize the practice’s EMR system.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must work Mon -Fri 8-5 and have 6 years of experience
Current ARDMS licensure (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
Successful completion of an accredited ultrasonography program.
Demonstrated proficiency in obstetrical and gynecological imaging, including transvaginal and 3D/4D ultrasounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a clinical setting.
Education/License:
ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required.
