Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, highly-skilled, reliable and dedicated Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. In this role, the ideal candidate will work with our clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed according to their requirements and limitations. You must provide compassionate care and assistance while documenting clients progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.
Duties:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, laundry, grooming, medication reminders and etc
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- make sure patient needs are met
- Understand the limitations and needs of each individual client.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist patients in sitting, standing, laying down, and walking.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in home healthcare, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to provide compassionate care.
Skills:
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques
