Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide attentive, quality care for a client with impairments in their daily living activities. This role is crucial in fostering a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment that enhances the client’s quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily personal care tasks such as sitting, cooking, walking, etc.
Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
Communicate effectively with sponsor as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred with Blue Ridge but not required (training available).
Certification as a PCA, CNA, or HHA is a plus.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours (overnight shifts).
