Hope Care & Love HHS is looking for a qualified, dedicated, dependable and compassionate Residential Direct Support Professional.
Summary
Direct Support Professional overall responsibility is to work with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Assist individuals to become more integrated in their communities by maximizing the person’s strengths, interests, and abilities. The goal for individuals to direct their own activities that create a meaningful life. This includes contributing to the community and developing relationships with people outside their support system. Support may occur in a variety of settings and may include providing personal care, assistance with daily living activities, job coaching, teaching/developing skills, advocating with the individual, assisting in communication and self-expression, and ultimately supporting the individual in meeting his or her own goals.
The ideal candidate(s) will possess the following:
DSP certification
Medication Management Certification
TOVA trained and certified
CPR/1st Aide certified
Able to pass ALL background checks
Valid, Active Driver's License
Pay for this rewarding position starts at $15.50/hr.
