We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities.
This position is to clean 3 facilities:
Facility 1: Newport News 2 cleanings per week: Wednesday after 5pm and one time on the weekend, 4 hours per cleaning, 8 hours per week.
Facility 2: Newport News 1 cleaning per week on the weekend, 3 hours per week.
Facility 3: Williamsburg, 1 cleaning per week on the weekend. 3 hours per week.
We pay every two weeks via direct deposit. Our employees are direct W2 employees, we deduct taxes so you don't have to.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and clean restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet hygiene standards
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects
