Liquid Estates is hiring. We are an Estate Sale company, that does auctions, estate sales, cleanouts/ junk removal, and have a storefront.
We're looking for a Hard-working lead picker who can learn how we do things, and after some training take the reins and be able to run the Pickups, Deliveries, the picking, the setup, and the takedown of our sales. (we will train but need to have common sense, and the ability to learn and or be taught). THIS IS NOT AMERICAN PICKERS! This Job can be very rewarding and fun, and we try to make it that way but if you think it's the show and you're only going to be looking at cool stuff all day you need not waste your or our time.
this job has a lot of different types of work, some days are spent in the store just setting stuff up and researching items, some days are spent picking the items, some days are spent cleaning out houses and garages, must be ok with a lot of different work day scenarios some days are better than others but it's part of it from pushing a broom to customer service to manual labor.
This job is PHSICALLY DEMANDING. We move Refrigerators, large furniture, pianos, wood, tools, etc. etc.
we have to go up and into stairs, attics, basements, barns, sheds etc.
you will deal with dirt, grime, dust, rust, grease, bugs, and more it's not every day but some days are tough be prepared for that.
Requirements
LICENSE (must have a valid ID and ability to get to and from work, and be able to drive a box truck and be put on our insurance)
Be able to lift 60+ lbs. consistently
Know how to use a dolly properly
Internet sales (Ebay), and or tech savvy would be a plus
some knowledge of furniture, antiques, collectibles would be a plus but if not a willingness to learn!
Must be able to interact with customers, clients, and agents that we deal with on a regular basis.
RELIABLE if you can't wake up in the morning and be on time on a regular basis, please don't waste our time or yours.
must be able to troubleshoot potential problems
must display leadership abilities.
MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY. we deal with client's valuable items we also have a Federal Firearms License so trust is a must.
We prefer to hire as 1099 contract labor but could be w2 employee if needed.
This job requires a lot of different abilities but for the most part it takes COMMON SENSE, we can and will get you there if you're the right person, but you have to be focused and want to learn. This job has a lot of fringe benefits that we will discuss in person. we are looking for someone fulltime 30-40 hours a week,
looking for someone to start almost immediately.
