THE ROLE
We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help support our Virginia Beach FLOHOMs. This role starts with managing the pump-out (waste removal) process for our floating units (using the marina’s mobile pump-out cart and facilities) and expands into general maintenance support to keep our units in excellent condition.
This is a part-time, flexible schedule role with opportunities to grow into more hours and broader responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage pump-out waste removal process for FLOHOMs (training provided).
Assist with light maintenance and repairs (basic handyman tasks).
Support property readiness and upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, guest-ready environment.
Coordinate with FLOHOM’s operations team for scheduling and task completion.
REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation to the FLOHOMs.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Comfortable working around water and outdoors.
Previous maintenance/handyman experience a plus.
PAY & PERKS
