Position Overview:
The Rigger will be responsible for setting up, inspecting, and securing loads for lifting operations. You’ll work closely with crane operators and site supervisors to ensure safe and efficient hoisting, rigging, and material handling in various construction and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and inspect rigging gear, slings, and hardware.
-Safely attach loads to cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
-Signal crane operators and coordinate lifting operations.
-Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
-Assist with site setup, teardown, and daily equipment inspections.
-Communicate effectively with the crane team and project supervisors.
Qualifications:
-2+ years of rigging or related construction experience preferred.
-Strong understanding of load charts, weight distribution, and lifting techniques.
-Must be able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various conditions.
-Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
-Desire to eventually become a Crane Operator preferred.
