Warehouse Team Lead

Job Summary:

Pacific Best Inc. (PBI) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Warehouse Team Lead for our Virginia warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse operations, with strong leadership skills and the ability to follow detailed procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure all warehouse tasks, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, are completed accurately and on time.

Team Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.

Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce discrepancies.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, perform regular inspections, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Problem Solving: Resolve operational issues and customer inquiries promptly and effectively, always maintaining a focus on detail and accuracy.

Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary documentation, such as shipping labels and inventory reports, ensuring they meet company standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and achieve company goals.

Team Meetings: Lead regular meetings to communicate objectives, address challenges, and recognize team achievements.

Other Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by management to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex instructions.

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on motivating and managing a diverse team.

Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
