DATA ENTRY:
Enter and transfer information publicly available at the courthouses into excel spreadsheets and then send these files to the main office.
For more than 33 years we have been gathering data from the courthouses across the state of Virginia. This information is used for marketing by attorneys and other industries. Your part of this process is a unique opportunity for you gain a valuable skill that can lead to many other career choices. Many of data researchers have been offered positions at the local courthouses as Court clerks and Deputy Clerks in the same Courts that input the data.
Our successful candidates must have:
Personal transportation with insurance.
Laptop computer with Excel already installed.
Experience with Excel at a beginners level.
Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
Be RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY.
The position is a Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to Noon. There are no hours on the weekends, nights or holidays.
This is NOT a work from home position. No part of this job can done solely from home.
We cover the courthouses ranging from Hampton/ Newport news thru all of tidewater, eastern shore, and all the way to Emporia and Greensville.
Mileage is at .65cents per mile beyond the traditional allowance of to/from work.
Depending on your assignments and willingness to travel, hours can be from 10 to 25 hours per week.
This position will initially start off as our floater/temp position, but it can quickly become much more if you are willing to accept the assignments. Reviews after 90 days, but you will have daily contact with management for support, information and general thoughts on how to improve and become proficient. The faster you can work will result in more opportunities and files to complete.
Pay is by W-2 (NOT 1099) and direct deposit every two weeks.
