We are currently seeking a SERVICE TECHNICIAN at one of our small local apartment communities!
The Service Technician is responsible to ensure residents a safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live by keeping all electrical and mechanical equipment and appliances functional at all times, or serviced
immediately and making all needed repairs to structures promptly.
This qualified candidate will abide by Fair Housing Laws; responding to residents calls for service;
completing plumbing repairs; laying and repairing tile; installing and repairing drywall; repairing
electrical switches; completing work orders such as repairing and replacing appliances, painting,
repairing locks, shampooing and replacing carpets, unstopping drains; repairing windows, doors and
molding; carpentry work such as sanding and staining cabinets and counter tops; and may be
assigned to assist in other areas around the property.
This individual will need to be available for maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.
REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS: EPA Certificate for Freon Recovery; HVAC Certificate;
Current Fair Housing Certification (Virginia Only). Valid Drivers License if operating a vehicle.
