Ridge Industries is seeking a competent and experienced Personal Computer Assembler (ages 18 - 25) to join our award-winning team! As a PC Builder, you install and repair the physical components of computers. These parts include AMD's Ryzen desktop processors, and NVIDIA's RTX 2070 video cards. Your duties require you to be familiar and work with both laptop and desktop computers. You may assemble computers according to a predetermined design or create custom models and configure hardware according to the customer's needs.Basic ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver to production, advanced process to assemble PC components and sub-assembliesIdentify and roll out safety improvements in areas of ownershipBe empowered to own your processes from start to finishResolve assembling issues, disposition nonconforming parts, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust corrective actionsDesign tooling for new and existing products to support rate productionManage and drive capital projects to aggressive timelines and budgetsAssisted in assembly of computers from basic partsPerform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standardsPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresConfer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problemsAssemble computer systems within a fact-paced work environmentAssisted with auditing completed computer systemsDevelop multitasking skills and setting priorities in order to meet deadlinesThis is the perfect entry level opportunity for an energetic, inquisitive, eager learner who has a can-do attitude and is looking to expand his/her IT skills.Desired Skills:High school diploma requiredSelf-directed and able to work independentlyFriendly and courteous at all timesPays attention to detailMust possess excellent communication and customer service skillsUse consistent good judgementStrong planning, organizational, and communication skills are essentialAbility to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructionsAbility to explain technology in an easily understood mannerEducational Requirements:High school diploma or its equivalentAdditional RequirementsMust be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
