Overview
We’re a growing local bathroom remodeler company seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Installer to join our team. This position beings as an assistant role supporting our Project Manger with bathroom installations, with the opportunity to advance into a Lead Installer.
Responsibility
- Assist the Project Manager with bath and shower installations, conversions, and related remodeling work.
- Measure, cut, and fit acrylic panels and materials accurately using standard tools.
- Maintain a clean, professional, appearance and job site.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
- Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and debris.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to commute to Suffolk headquarters, then go to the job sites.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bathroom renovation or a closely related trade.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Clean driving record (no major violations or more than 2 points in the past 3 years).
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Must live locally in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, or Suffolk.
- Have a great time and sense of humor.
Compensation
- Hourly pay: $20 - $23/hour for Lead Installer.
- 20 - 30 hours a week to start, with potential for full-time and overtime as workload increases.
- Weekends off for Installers.
- Pay raise upon successful completion of the probationary period (90 days)
- Annual performance bonuses.
